Google Pixel 3, Pixel 3 XL to launch on October 9: Report
The Google Pixel 3 and Pixel 3 XL has been leaked in all glory much before Google had even announced the launch date. Surprisingly, the Pixel 3 XL is already available in the Russian black market for as high as $2,000 which translates to around Rs 1,40,000 in India. Now a news report by Bloomberg claims that the Google Pixel 3 and Pixel 3 XL smartphones will be launched at a media event on October 9 in New York.

Google hasn't confirmed nor denied this date and we are still waiting for Google's official statement. Earlier, news reports suggested that Google would launch the new Pixel 3 range of phones on October 4.

Recently, it was reported that the Google Pixel 3 and Pixel 3 XL will be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 processor. It has been also rumoured that the smartphone will be sporting a display notch like the iPhone X. The notch is said to comprise of dual front-facing cameras on either side of the earpiece grille. A front-facing speaker can also be seen below the display at the chin.

Google could reportedly launch a high-end Chromebook with a detachable display at it upcoming hardware event along with the new Pixel 3 smartphones. While there is no official word on it from Google, rumours have it that Google will most likely launch a new Chromebook. Dubbed as 'Nocturne', the news reports suggest that Google is ready with the new Chrome OS device and the new Chromebook could go on sale as early as November.

On the other hand, Apple is gearing up to launch its next iPhones in September. While there is no official date yet, rumours have it that Apple will host its iPhone event on September 12. The new iPhones along with the Pixel 3 smartphones are expected to arrive in India ahead of the Diwali festive season by end of October or early November.
